Jamar Rashad
GiYN is proud to feature one of the most talented people I know for 15 years, Jamar Rashad. A songwriter ,composer ,singer , and performer and absolutely my brother from a different mother. The friendship with this person started when we became classmates in college back in SWOSU. Later then we both surprisingly found out that we both have the same birthdate!
Amazed by his singing voice and his passion for dancing/performing, as a former dancer myself, we came to this idea to learn some dance moves to go with his original song composition. It was one of our best memories in college to hang out after school at the gym and find a vacant room to have a dance session. It was one of the things we both love to do, to dance.
He would make me listen to his songs and I always thought since then that he is very talented in making music and singing his own songs. I always silently cheer for my brother for I strongly believe that he is born to be a star. What a great amazing friend he is, and the memories we shared during our college days as friends are priceless. Somewhere in Oklahoma, there is such a kind of friendship that happened.
Jamar is now performing in some shows in Oklahoma and he is more professional doing it. I always enjoy listening and watching his performances he shares on our social media. Years have passed, and here we are, still friends even thousand miles apart. His career choice and journey in life is quite inspirational. And hopefully, you can check him out and get inspired by this person the same thing I did.
